Unique Contemporary Home Sees Only One Option in Roofing
When we first met with the Guerra Family, it wasn't a matter of if they were going to choose a metal roof but how the metal roof would be installed. Their modern 2 story home posed a lot of difficult challenges including the angle of the roof, the extreme height of the roof and the complex tear off and new insulation system.
This contemporary metal roof in upper Bucks County took over 12 months of planning from both our project managers as well as the customer who has been a professional architect for 20+ years running his own architecture business!!
The complex project featured a beautiful New Patina Green Metal Roof, James Hardie Fiber Cement Stucco Siding, 2 operational Velux Skylights and a Contemporary Snow Rail System.

It is 6:45 p.m. Your team of master roofers have just completed the metal roof on our large contemporary home after four weeks of intense, challenging, dangerous work. We think our soaring, aged copper green metal standing seamed roof is the most beautiful roof in the world!
Our project had many difficult, custom, extremely technical angles and aspects including a very steep, triangular shaped, large roof, a 40' high-peaked opposing angle clerestory roof which required operating up and down on a large high-reach crane from a two-man basket. In addition, there were two large, electric skylights that needed to be cutout of the roof with sophisticated flashing and precision placement.
Last but not least, our home has a large rotunda with a peaked tower. This requires precise calculations on all hand-bent, custom metal pieces. They also crafted special pieces around the bathroom vents and pipes for a more aesthetic effect. All the metal was fabricated in our backyard with all debris collected in large tarps. Every night, they used leaf blowers and tarps to leave our "construction zone" in impeccable condition.
